birthdays.
an update first: i moved back into my parents' house, i started applying for graduate school, and i'm still job hunting (and at least interviewing).
and the topic of the day (er, month!): my birthday! i made plans a tad late, but i'm very excited (which were all Nikki, by the way). on the 14th, first is wine tasting (which i've never been to), then a stroll through New Hope, Pennsylvania (where i also have never been, believe it or not), and then dinner at a place in town recommended by Nikki. and at the winery, they offer "grape crushing" -- a la I Love Lucy! i don't know if i'll do it, but i might. 
as always, it's also Ron's birthday (he's the 10th, like my grandmother and cousin). i still have not gotten him anything. or my grandmother. or my other grandmother (which is the 15th). i have a bit of shopping to do...
